Thad S. Morton, Ph.D.
Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Morton is the Founding Editor and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Scientific and Mathematical Research. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, has seventeen years of professional experience in turbomachinery and automotive engineering and has taught engineering for several years at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. His research interests include fluid mechanics, turbomachinery, wind energy, nonlinear mechanics, mathematical modeling, and applied mathematics.
As Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Morton oversees the Journal’s editorial standards, peer-review process, and commitment to rigorous, transparent scholarly communication.
